Greetings, People! Been away for a long while, still without my own computer as I send this your way. I have been running on a bumpy road since October 2009, and the aftermath continues to affect me today. But this year - 2011 - is my Sabbath Year, a year of climbing back onto a smoother path! Some small rocks and boulders crowd my path right now, but I seem to be doing much better than I had been in 2009, Praise our Heavenly Father and His Son! Thanks for your patience, and I look forward to sharing more with you as time moves on. Peace and Love!
The Hebrew New Year begins at sundown, Wednesday, the 28th, Hebrew Year will change to 5772! If you have your shofar, this will be the day to blow with holy joy! Peace to Everyone Everywhere!
SPECIAL PRAYERS AND GREETINGS TO THESE GREAT FRIENDS!

October marks the final major Biblical event on our Heavenly Father's Holy calendar, Sukkot (also known as the Festival of Booths and Festival of Tabernacles), which begins at sunset on the 15th day of the 7th Biblical month and ends with the Great Last Day on the 23rd day, as recorded in the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 23, Verses 34 to 43. In the Book of Zechariah, Chapter 14, Verses 16 to 21, our Heavenly Father will demand all nations and peoples everywhere to observe and celebrate this festival every year forever in the New Heaven, Earth and Universe yet to come. In today's world, everyone who believes in the Heavenly Father and His Son observe this major event. Sunset times for North Carolina are approximate; check your local settings for correct times. Peace and Shalom!

Christians, Jews, Hebrews, and believers in Father and Son worldwide will go on a 24-hour fast to do a Spiritual self-examination during this year's Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), part of the Biblical Days of Awe, commanded to us by our Heavenly Father as written in Leviticus 23. The Day of Atonement occurs in the seventh Scriptural month and tenth day. The Bible commands us to "afflict our souls" and meet with others for worship on this day. Sunset times for North Carolina are approximate, please consult your local sources for your correct times.
Russia will be joining the bullet-train club later this year when travelers will be able to ride on 200 km/hr (120 mph) trains between the Russian capital of Moscow and St. Petersburg, a normally 8-hour trip that will be reduced to 3 hours each way. For more details on this faster way to ride in ultramodern comfort between these two great cities, please go here. (Courtesy of Pravda Online, English Edition)
I have not been with y'all for a few weeks...my computer monitor died and left me without a screen! Back in business now, thanks for your patience. Peace to Everyone!
I will return after the Sabbath...have yourself one pleasant, enjoyable, and most-blessed Sabbath Weekend!
Peace and Brotherhood Always!

There is something that I have been pondering over for some time now: I have noticed that more people in our country and around the world are beginning to question the existence and validity of our Heavenly Father, the King of the Universe and the Supreme Being of the Hebrew and Christian people and everyone else who believes in Him. Not too long ago there was a survey released to the public showing that the number of atheists and agnostics in the United States had risen by nearly 15% within a given period of time. From my own everyday experiences, I seem to be running into more people who question the validity of God, YAH, The I Am, Aleph/Alpha and Tau/Omega, Our Father, Yahwah/Yahvah/Yahavah, Yahweh, Jehovah, YHVH/YHWH, Heavenly Father, Creator of the Universe, From Everlasting to Everlasting, Ha'Shem, Adonai, El, El Shaddai, Elohim...or whatever the Name you may prefer to call Him. I would like to find out from you your opinion and feedback on the existence of a Supreme Being in the Universe, the One Who Created Everything, so please take the plunge! Feel free to offer your comments, I want to know your opinions on this! Let's have an open and respectable discussion while we compare notes...And May It Be So.

Another black-owned family restaurant in the Twin City, Char's, features very affordable prices, quick and friendly service, and tasty food that's worth the eat. Located across the street from Bojangle's on Waughtown Street, just a few blocks from U.S. 52 and not far from the 52 interchange with I-40, this small but busy restaurant brings back memories of days when restaurants offered customers bar stools lined at the windows so people could look out at the passing traffic while they enjoyed their meals. As the name implies, the hamburger is the star at Char's, but you can also order hot dogs, fish, and the always changing delicious daily specials. If you wait too long for your order, they will offer you a free drink, milkshake or ice cream. Anytime you visit the city, be sure to stop in! Hours are 10 AM-10 PM daily and noon-7 PM Sundays. (336) 784-5418. You will not be disappointed! http://www.yelp.com/biz/chars-hamburgers-winston-salem#hrid:eTZkqkdKvDZtmm0yMRyGMg/src:self
My apologies to everyone for the infrequent visits as of late, I will be back here this weekend after the seventh-day Sabbath. Until then, Peace, Joy, Good Vibes, and A Great Weekend To Y'all!

Tuesday, 25th of August: Yellow buses are once again rolling all over the city and students walk through the hallways on their way to classes...YES, it's time for school! School season for 2009-2010 (is it nine years into the new century already?) will run through Tuesday, 8th of June. Summer is now in your dreams for the next warm-weather season, boys and girls, young men and young ladies! Set the alarm clock and study, study, study!
Ray Charles, rise up and walk to your piano! The Blind Boys of Alabama, in performance for nearly 60 years, are still rocking and dancing with their soul-stirring brand of Black Gospel Soul. In this song, they sing about the dangers of messing around with somebody else's wife...good advice from these seasoned messengers, you agree? Enjoy!

Southern Gospel Sounds: About 3 years ago, a friend gave me a Signature Sound Quartet CD, "The Ground Is Level." I immediately took to the dynamic range of these singers, and put Ernie Haase on my favorites list. This song is sure to open your soul and fill it with hope and joy. Enjoy!

Wake Forest University's Baptist Hospital is among those actively working in this field. Now a damaged or disfigured face no longer means a remaining life of hopelessness!
Just over 100 years ago...the beginning of the 20th century...rail transportation was the major way to travel, as well as bicycles, carriages pulled by horses or mules, and your own two feet! The automobile and airplane were just getting on the runway back then, and gradually moving towards perfection and widespread use. But it would not be that long before the automobile would gain massive appeal. The background picture that you see on this page is in the public domain, a view of Downtown Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, somewhere around the beginning of the last century. More than a few towns and cities in North Carolina had public rail service back then, including Winston-Salem, which had boasted two trolley lines running north-south and east-west in the city, and the ridership was healthy. By the 1940's, thanks in part to the bus manufacturers and tire industry, diesel-powered buses replaced the electric trolleys, and maintenance crews covered over with asphalt the exposed tracks running in the streets. This was truly a sad time for everyone who enjoyed riding the rails!
